Art inspired by a practice that is unfortunately very common in crypto. We need to be alert and suspicious almost all the time. At the beginning of 2026, I suffered an unusual social scam... I messaged an old collector of mine, wrote his exact handle on X and sent a message intending to buy an edition he has, called "Ether-Man," a very important work for me. It turns out that the original collector lost his X account and a thief pretended to be him using the same handle. I'm sure that if the scammer had messaged me I would have understood, as has happened other times and I identified them along the way, but in this case I was the one who contacted him and our conversations matched what happened in the past. Let this serve as a warning to everyone reading this description, and most importantly, document this event and practice that can happen to any of us.
